Main Causes of Cataracts

Whenever a cataract occurs in your eyes, it will be hard for you to focus on your everyday activities. Your eye works a lot like a camera lens and when the camera lens gets blurry, the whole picture becomes blurry – the same process happens with your eyes. With cataracts, they will start to be just a little smudge on your eyes, and then it will progress. At the first sight of cataracts, you should contact an eye doctor.
When it comes to cataracts, they are very common amongst the older generation. Many of the cataracts found in people today are caused by the aging process. Just because you age does not mean you have to continue dealing with cataracts. There are medications that can be used for cataracts. When it comes to cataracts, they come in three forms. The cataracts will start to form in the nucleus, which is the center of the lens in your eye.

4. Heavy drinking of too much alcohol

As you see, there are many cases that can cause cataracts. If you have cataracts, then you are going to have problem with light, including headlights at night as you drive, colors will be fading, poor vision during the night hours, cloudy vision all together and frequent changes of your eyeglasses.
